सुरक्षा के बारे में:
कोयला खान सुरक्षा के लिए सांविधिक प्रावधान।
कोयला खनन पूरे विश्व में अनेक अंतर्निहित प्रचालनगत तथा पेशागत जोखिमों की मौजूदगी के कारण अत्यधिक विनियमित उद्योग है। कोयला खान सुरक्षा विधान भारत में पेशागत स्वास्थ्य एवं सुरक्षा (ओएचएस) सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सबसे अधिक व्यापक सांविधिक ढाचाओं में से एक है। इन सुरक्षा सांविधियोंका अनुपालन अनिवार्य है। भारत में कोयला खानों में प्रचालनों को खान अधिनियम, 1952 खान नियमावली, 1955 कोयला खान विनियमन – 1957 तथा उनके अंतर्गत बनाए गए अन्य संविधियों द्वारा विनियमित होता है। केंद्रीय श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय के अधीन खान सुरक्षा महानिदेशालय (डीजीएमएस) करे इन संविधियों को प्रशासित करने का कार्य सौंपा गया है।
